For those of you who dare to innovate with new energy efficient solutions, Énergir has a grant that will help make your projects a reality.
Grant for new energy efficiency solutions
The Innovation Program aims to identify and develop energy innovations that make a more efficient use of natural gas, have good market potential, and save energy.
The program targets new technologies as well as new approaches to energy efficiency and helps participants to develop and demonstrate their solution.

Up to 75% of the costs covered
The grant can cover up to 75% of the costs incurred by a project, up to a maximum of $25,000 for an experimental project, and up to $250,000* for a demonstration project.
The program targets all markets. Projects for customers in the Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Industrial and Transportation markets are eligible for the program.
ESA, from the idea to the market
The start-up ESA had an idea: develop a new heat exchanger for heating poultry houses. Impressed by their innovation and the potential energy savings for our natural gas customers, Énergir awarded the project a grant as part of the Innovation Program.

Conditions
* Les projets proposés doivent inclure une technologie ou une approche innovante, ou même l'utilisation d'énergie renouvelable dans le cadre d'une utilisation complémentaire avec le gaz naturel. Les projets devront permettre une utilisation plus efficace du gaz naturel.
** Les projets admissibles sont des projets d'expérimentation ou de démonstration. Par contre, les montants maximaux disponibles diffèrent et sont de 25 000 $ pour un projet d'expérimentation et de 250 000 $ pour un projet de démonstration ou jusqu'à 75 % des coûts de réalisation du projet selon le moins élevé des montants.
Les projets doivent présenter des solutions et des innovations pour lesquelles la performance énergétique, la rentabilité ou l'applicabilité n'ont pas encore été éprouvées au Québec.
Ne pourront être admis les projets admissibles aux autres programmes du Plan global en efficacité énergétique d'Énergir.
Vous devrez fournir au cours du projet un rapport de suivi et de contrôle, ainsi qu'un rapport final une fois le projet complété.
Les contributions financières sont sujettes à l'approbation du projet par Énergir et sont déterminées par Énergir selon le budget alloué au programme Innovations et aux conditions en vigueur du programme Innovations technologiques PE-220. Les projets retenus devront faire l'objet d'un contrat avec Énergir.
