The dualenergy offer with heat pump is available to Énergir residential customers who use a natural gas warmair central heating system and meet eligibility criteria.
1. Economic competitiveness and savings depend on a number of factors, including the type of building, the equipment used, consumption habits and the current rate.
2. Hydro-Québec and Énergir, with support from the Government of Québec as part of the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy, are partnering to support customers in their conversion to the dual-energy electricity-natural gas solution. Certain conditions apply. Grant amounts vary depending on the power of the equipment installed and the work done to install them. Grant amounts cannot exceed 80% of the additional costs of purchasing and installing the equipment. Costs for electrical work may be added to the cost of purchasing and installing the equipment. 3. Residential customers with an electricity/natural-gas heating system are eligible for Hydro-Québec’s Rate DT for all of their household consumption, or their electrical distributor’s dual-energy rate where applicable.
